I loved today’s daily create! Pink was a color I tried to avoid liking for years. I thought it was too ‘girly’ and that was never the vibe I was going for. Thankfully I learned to ditch a stereotype that is attached to a color. What is the point of not liking something (especially something as simple as a color) because of the way society decides to portray it? I now love pink! I love how naturally occurring it is, like in beautiful flowers or, like in this picture, a sunset! I live for pink sunsets! There is not much that tops a warm summer night, watching the sun go down with good company.

When I read the prompt, I knew I wanted to use a picture in my camera roll. I went to searching for anything pink that caught my eye. I fell upon this picture of my boyfriend and I from last summer. We had dinner with my sister at a yummy seafood restaurant in Scarborough, ME. We sat on the back day, enjoying the nice weather. The sky started as a typical light blue with scattered clouds. As the night went on, the sun started to set. Quickly, the sky became a painting of colors, the most vibrant being pink. It made dinner 10x better having such a great sunset view over the ocean! There is no edit on this picture, just nature in all its glory.
